Running From A Rock Star (Brides on the Run, #1)Running From A Rock Star by Jami Albright

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 stars for one of the best reads of the year!!
I was laughing so hard my stomach muscles hurt - I also cried enough that I ran out of tissues -
This was for me the quintessential romantic comedy -
Scarlet is just the right mix of innocence, sass and inner tigress to make her the ideal heroine
And her family - I am keeping them - Her Aunt is just a hoot!!
Gavin is portrayed by the world as your resident bad boy - the perfect deviant - and some of it is earned - But...
Can't go there it will spoil the story ;)
I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book.

Blood Laws (Immortal Curse Series, Book 1)Blood Laws by Lexi C. Foss

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

10 Immortal lives for Blood laws - A must for any paranormal lovers collection
WHAT!!!! NO WAY!!!
Yes - those were the last words out of my mouth as I read the last words in Blood Laws!

Foss has built a world of paranormal intrigue and suspense that promises to keep even the most fastidious of readers trapped within her clutches
I love the opposing factions and the complex players within this series - they were well written and graphically vivid
Excellent supporting cast as well
All the hidden secrets and factions plots that are unveiled as we go through the story are done so well, and blend seamlessly with the story that they truly end up as - "I did not see that coming" - moments.
This does end on a cliffhanger - The I need to know right now kind -

Flawed PerfectionFlawed Perfection by M.A. Innes

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

No flaws in this story whatsoever!
Wow, -10 explosive stars!
An Absolutely Amazing Story
Sensual - Sweet - Sexy
I fell in love with Gabriel and Nathan <3 br="">I laughed so hard at some of Nathan's antics - He was so easy to connect with Gabriel was the perfect partner for Nathan - his patience and understanding of Nathan and his needs was an exceptional example of a Master/pet relationship
I cried a few times (can't tell you -spoiler)
I really want to know more about the supporting characters I met in this story -
I have never read this genre before - so I was a bit hesitant going in - I have to say I will be reading more of Innes work.
The writing was flawless -
The editing - practically perfect
M/M romance

Hunger (Jane Thornton Book 1)Hunger by C.E. Black

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A+

A Post-apocalyptic story. This is book one in the series

It ends with a lot of questions and leaves the reader definitely wanting to know what is happening next - but it is not a mid-scene cliffhanger - but there is a lot going on that left me on edge.

Jane has survived over a year alone in her home town until the day Mason and Kade cross her path - they are traveling to a place that Mason believes will be a safe haven, they invite her to journey with them. Despite her hesitancy to trust anyone,
after a dangerously close encounter with another group of survivors- she agrees and embarks on the journey with them.

So much happens... It was one OMG...
Hell no ...
Turn around!!!
Nooooo...
Edge of your seat read...
And it has only just begun....

Boss Unyielding: A Secret Baby Office RomanceBoss Unyielding: A Secret Baby Office Romance by Nicole R. Locker

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Tasteful, sensual and engaging
Farren is funny, sexy and wait for it - she has a brain and she knows how to use it!!
Rogan is a bit bi polar when it comes to Farren (which is sweet as heck) He runs his company and his life with a firm hand - a bit of a playboy
Terrific supporting cast - I look forward to their stories
Older man younger woman office romance - HEA
I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book.
