One Taste of Crazy by Amanda Siegrist
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A suspenseful romantic thriller that will leave you wanting more of the men of St. Cloud
I was absolutely captivated by the characters in this book -Siegrist has a way of grabbing you and dragging you in so you forget the world outside of the pages.
Sauer is a homicide detective, he is tough and has no qualms doing what is necessary to get the job done - off the clock though he seems to have a shift in confidence when it comes to the opposite gender and especially the one woman he has coveted above all others- Dee
Dee is that girl - the heartless bitch that few truly understand and even fewer tolerate -
She does not need a man, she is fine with one night or an occasional friend with benefits - she is independent, strong and so completely lost -
Until Sauer finds his way in and she finds her way out -
I have not read the previous two books yet -I received this copy as an ARC -I am going to remedy that problem right away - a…

Review: Demon Whiskey by S.M. Blooding My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Demon Whiskey by S.M. Blooding
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Whiskey Witches Was Wickedly Wonderful
Say that five times fast and see what you summon -
This is an introduction to the Whiskey Witches and why they are where they are - another mouth full-
I don't want to do spoilers - this really lays some great groundwork for this series-
The fantasy world Blooding has created is detailed with very realistic possibilities -
You will find laughter - insanity - love and some heart breaking angst woven within these pages- the Whiskey Witches are a close but loving family living together the two sisters, grandma, and their wonderfully wild children - I would have velcroed them to the wall years ago- just saying -
I am really looking forward to moving on with this series - I had a real hard time putting this down - and yes it left me watering for more -
There were some issues I had with mild grammar and scene editing but I did receive an ARC and most issues are corrected pre publishing

Review: Rebound by P.J. Adams My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Rebound by P.J. Adams
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is an action packed romantic spy thriller
I liked the way Adams put so much detail into the characters - their nuances and quirks were so well detailed I felt like I was there and knew them personally - easy to connect with them, be it for love or to give them a swift kick
The story does flow back and forth between present day and the past (approx a month)-
At first, I admit I found this a bit hard to follow and I felt like I was slipping from the story- but truly by the third chapter it was easy to follow the flow and I had no problem becoming engrossed within the story
The characters building was top notch - you could see them, relate to them and even feel their emotions
I do wish we had more background on Alex - we get a lot about the program but I had more questions and sadly even though it felt like I was there I couldn't really ask the characters

Review: Beautiful Beast by Aubrey Irons My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Beautiful Beast by Aubrey Irons
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Irons has intertwined subterfuge, revenge, deceit, and so many other forms of emotionally twisted behaviors into one captivating story that when the ball gets rolling -you will be glued gripping the edge of your seat - trying to feel somewhat grounded - it won't work I tried.
Nothing is what it seems -and it all has a purpose - though selfish and jaded the purpose may be - it still is a purpose
Oh and as for the supporting characters - I really want them to get their own stories- this is the second book with this theme I have read in the last month where the author built a world and characters vivid and strong enough that they could easily be carried over into a series

Review: Mind Games - A Bad Boy Romance With A Twist by Gabi Moore My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Mind Games - A Bad Boy Romance With A Twist by Gabi Moore
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A complete mind-bending tale laced with a little bit of this woven in with a whole lot of that-
Moore does it again -this time she takes us on a journey of suspense-intrigue - subterfuge- jealousy-revenge and a very twisted tale of love - One extremely sordid affair that will leave you just a touch mind f@cked

This set combines all three books in the Games series
First is from Nora's POV -Book two is Dean's POV -and Book Three alternates between the two

Nora - She controls her life, her world and everyone who enters it with a tight leash and an even tighter set of rules.
She is one of the elites in her world - one of the best at what she does- she is a Domme- and she has all the control (doesn't she ?)

Dean- He has a special kink, a secret kink. He only wants to please her, truly please her and that is what he does, it's all for her (isn't it?)

Mr. Cane - She is my Domme - I love her …

Review: Wasted by M.J. Fields My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wasted by M.J. Fields
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

That girl Mandee is on to something - the wings of an angel grazing the chest of a Falcon - and his name is Gray.
This is hands down one of the top 5 reads of this year!
Fields brought me into this story from the opening scene and made me feel a part of it - A romantic and sometimes haunting read. Get ready for an emotionally charged journey that will keep you entertained from beginning to end. This is my first in the Steel Country Series and I am obviously going to have to go back - cause I want more Falcon- though as for Gray: Can I keep him!!

Review: Die For You by Michele Mills My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Die For You by Michele Mills
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the first book in the post apocalyptic Catastrophe series -
And though it is an HEA Mills definitely left me wanting more!
I liked the way Mills set the stage for this series, his starting cast and main characters include a wide range of personalities and "quirks" including the evil that will revel in their covetous behavior-
This only enhances your immersion into the story line and keeps you riveted to the pages
It is not just one genre or theme but a well-blended mix of suspense, survival, angst, and romance.
Definitely looking forward to book 2

Review: The Beast & the Beauty: A Steamy Bad Boy Fairytale Romance by Nikki Steele My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Beast & the Beauty: A Steamy Bad Boy Fairytale Romance by Nikki Steele
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was an amazingly new concept and rewarding twist on a very old classic -
Steele takes you on a journey that will leave you emotionally battered and beaten - yet crying for more.
I was easily drawn into this story and fell in love with not just Rio and Bella, but so many others as well.
I would really like to see a follow up on this novel -

Review: Swink by Adriana Locke My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Swink by Adriana Locke
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Romance delivered in its purest form - raw and emotional -
I am absolutely addicted when it comes to the Landry series and Locke's writing style -
She brings out every possible emotion and then- when I think we have run the gauntlet she drags me just a bit further
Everything you expect from Adrianna Locke - She does not disappoint!
"I received an ARC at no cost from the author."

Review: The Unlikeable Demon Hunter: Sting by Deborah Wilde My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Unlikeable Demon Hunter: Sting by Deborah Wilde
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Off the charts - An utterly fantastical read!
I love Nava she is quick witted, strong, snarky as all get out and just the all around perfect kick @ss heroine.
Nava is slowly coming into her powers, and since she is the first of her kind she isn't getting much help- at the same time that she is stumbling through learning who she is and what she can do - she is also tenaciously attempting to ensure her twin receives his induction ceremony - all these events compounds into some hilarious and down right action packed scenes and the sparks between her and Rhoan -dangerous!
Excellent characters, an all consuming story line - A perfect all around read
I received a free copy of this book and chose to leave a voluntary review

Review: Stripping the Sub by Golden Angel My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Stripping the Sub by Golden Angel
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I fell in love with Michael within a couple of chapters - I am keeping him by the way, and I do not share.
The book is written with such a delicate touch to it - it is hard to put into words -
The characters and their emotions felt so real - I was part of the group - part of their struggles-
and the intimate and BDSM scenes were done with such beauty -
Golden angel definitely did sexuality as an art form-
I will admit that this is the first book in this series I have read -I received a free copy of the book though it is in a series it can be read as a stand alone
HEA with alternating POV - 18+ readers due to sexual content

Review: New Wings by N.D. Iverson My rating: 4 of 5 stars

New Wings by N.D. Iverson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Packed with action and suspense and a whole lot of WTH??
Soooo love The Voice ;) - it took me a couple chapters to process what was actually going on (another entity, possession, etc) I got some of my answers but I really want to know more.
Iverson did a bang up job of dragging me in and immersing me in the story - I honestly lost track of time, though I will admit at a spot or two in a couple of chapters there seemed to be a lull then right back to the action into sure what happened there but it was the reason for the loss of a star
The characters or The "team" is the perfect blend of personalities and contradictions -definitely an eccentric mix which only increased the stories value
There is a slight undercurrent of romance - at this point, I am not sure who I am rooting for though I will say I am so looking forward to the summoning of book two
I have questions and I really want answers
