As I find with most first in series a lot of time was spent on character introductions and the laying of breadcrumb trails for future plots and subtle twist possibilities. This was done flawlessly by the way, and easy to follow.
The characters -
Anne - Definitely has a chip on her shoulder. She seems to spend a lot of time-fighting an invisible foe that she seems to have created herself. I did enjoy her tenacity though -she was like a Dalmatian that wouldn't let go. I did finally warm up to her character - she seemed to "grow up" as the story progressed, I appreciated the way her growth was revealed, added to the storyline
Danny - always seemed to be running from his past. A very strong presence, easy to connect with and I couldn't help but want to know more about the demons that seemed to be chasing him. He has that quick to light temper that definitely got him into some very prec…
