One twist after another
Kat -
Rage believed she was his blood so he took her - turns out she was nothing to him - so that is what she will become - Empty - Nothing
"Flowers grow back, even after they’re stepped on. So, will I. -Anonymous"
Once cherished and loved now denigrated to nothing more than a showpiece, a toy, to be passed around and eventually discarded -
At the end of her leash and void of hope, she dreams of a reprieve from this life
Trig -
“We just want the world to love the little monsters that we are.” -Atticus
He has always drawn Kat's eye but she knows better than to acknowledge this. He is one of them- For Trig there is just something about her that calls to him - A primal need to own, to protect - but she is not his.

This is book two - the plot has become more sinuous, the twists and turns deadlier. I was constantly thrown from one extreme to another - What? But Why? and WTH? Se…

Review: To Love A Monster by Marina Simcoe

To Love A Monster by Marina Simcoe
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Sophie is a strong and fun leading heroine - a bit insecure at times and like Monster a bit emotionally lost.
A tragic event from her past left untended has dictated her future.
Monster -angry, forgotten - he wants to forget - forget the past that paved his present - forget the man who once forgot all civility
This was a sweet take on a beloved fairy tale - really enjoyed the way the author approached the story - the slow build between them, the outside influences - and the past mistakes that eventually led to a very dark revelation

A gutsy young woman who refuses to bow to any man including the sexy Busta

Wow - A must read for MC lover's
Intense -Check
Twisted - Check
Action Packed - Check
This was an easy, while at the same time, complicated read-
The characters are comprehensive (something I truly enjoyed ) and the storyline flows smoothly in multiple directions. Being a first in series there are numerous plotlines playing out at the same time - future grids are being laid while the current ones are slowly revealed.
It was an intense read that constantly had me on edge - you know when you want to peek ahead just to make sure everything is okay?
The characters we meet are all intricate and definitely diverse - Some had me rolling in laughter (like Jazzy), some broke my heart - others I wanted to slowly erase from the pages.
Busta has me divided, his character has secrets and you can see tha…
