I was intrigued by the world that Richardson built.
It has all the earmarks for an on the edge of your seat series packed with adventure, suspense, and romance.
The adventure so far has been pretty solid -
The romance is a tad touch and go - They are learning though
Overall I think this will be a solid read for many PNR lovers
For me, it was a bit outside of my tastes but I am a touch on the hard to please side
Mila should have been a contender for the Olympics. No, I am serious, She runs, and runs and well she continues to run until eventually, she finds her path blocked (there is a scene in book two that had me rolling).
I had a hard time with the innocence of her character. I did, however, enjoy how she wasn't instantly accepting of this magical new world she had been dragged into. And she also had a little trouble with the whole "insta" mate thing even if she felt the pull.
The men in this series are a bit - I am not even sure how to put this - they are naive in human ways of courtship?
I honestly don't know how to describe them.
Don't get me wrong -
They are intelligent, smexy and definitely protectors
But when it comes time to properly assimilate and claim their mates - they are bumbling fools
Kind of cute in a cuddly bear sort of way
So far there is plenty of suspense and danger to keep your heart rate up
Some of the sweetest romantic scenes
and lots of breadcrumb trails that will leave you curious as to what is around the corner.

Writing has been my passion since a very early age. Sadly, it wasn’t until the death of my mum, who was also my best friend, in 2009 that I started to take it seriously. My mum’s wish was to see me published, which didn’t occur until 2014. And now, each book written by me is dedicated to her.
My main genre is romance, with books published in contemporary and paranormal romance. I also have the first of a trilogy published in YA Fantasy, there is an element of romance in this series, although the focus is predominantly the heroine’s quest.
When not writing, or reading my main hobbies are; cinema, theatre, gardening, keeping fit, Formula One racing, darts and spending time with friends.
