Though it doesn't look like the fates are quite on board with their plans. With a bit of arm twisting Xi and Eve find themselves soul deep in the pits of hell though this time it looks as though one of them may not be returning to the heavens.
I do not want to give any spoilers - with all honesty this is a read you want to go into blind if possible - Just be prepared for lots of hi-jinx, sordid betrayals, twisted revenge, never saw it coming plot twist and soul-shattering heartbreak as only Foss can deliver!

I am still not sure what to think of Crow?
Aria, well she leaves me a bit befuddled as well.
Both the leading main characters are well written it was easy to connect with them and lose myself in the story
The story moves pretty quickly oh and it ends on a
"to be continued" - not really a cliff hanger in the sense that you are left hanging by your fingernails in suspense -more like a WTH just happened and why moment?
Crow has had emotion beaten out of him until there is nothing but a dark void that consumes him - one his family feeds (that is a whole twist I am not about to spoil) but Aria's light and innocence somehow manage to crack through.
It could be the simple kindness she showed upon his moniker
Aria has a strange sense of being ( I am not sure how else to describe her) She is almost maniac in her motivation.
There is a back story to our heroine that we are not yet privy too and I am dying to know why she left originally and came to the city?
How she intends to go forward now that she has found her opposing half
Even the required absence of something makes it a necessary ingredient for completion
You can't have darkness without light and vice versa

If you are looking for a fast-paced dystopian sci-fi adventure that transports the reader to a wonderfully crafted universe filled with eccentric personalities, unique species and edge of your seat suspense
Then this is for you!
Siren, who is much older than her 17yrs would have you believe, is on a mission to save her species. Like all things that we plan to perfection - everything that can go wrong does go wrong.
Trapped in a hostile land reliant on a species that has always been her enemy Siren must find a way to protect her true identity while completing her mission
Can she survive the OM long enough to make it to B or will her true genetic identity be discovered before she can escape?
I was not sure what to expect going in as this was a new author for me so I really did not foresee that once I picked this up I would be compelled to finish it in one sitting. The story was unique and easy to follow. The author did a great job of transporting me into the story, making me feel like I was actually there. I was cringing and laughing and making all those facial expressions and verbal cues (don't laugh, you just wait, I promise you can't help it)
The characters are so vivid and easy to connect with. I couldn't help but feel some form of attachment to them - well most of them there are a couple I would like to toss to the R people who have the sharpened teeth!
So much was packed into this first in series and yet I didn't feel like I was reading an outline. All the important pieces fit into the story easily. I am not even sure how to explain it (why I am not a writer).
A fabulous first in series that I recommend for those who enjoy YA sci-fi with a twist
This ends on a bit of a cliffy (fine a major cliffy) that left me really wishing it was longer or the second in the series was out now.

Back to Finn our smexy lead and Grayson - you can think of him as a Mr.Darcy if you will, lol
Finn absolutely idolizes Grayson and now that he is face to face with him - he is a sputtering mess of goo confronted with so many what ifs -
Is he good enough?
Can he keep from embarrassing himself?
Wait what do you mean I have to ride a horse?
Turns out those jitters were all for nothing
Chemistry sizzles between our leading men on and off-screen.
This was a feel-good read, well written, easy to follow, that ticks all the HEA boxes. A wonderfully crafted cast of both main and supporting characters.
Felix - looooved him, Lydia, who was a bouncing ball of energy, Astrid who needs to step back and reevaluate her self esteem, Kayla who well I'll let you decide with her, and Ethan who kept everyone on schedule and who deserves his own HEA
If you are looking for an easy to read romance with light angst and just the right touch of sweet this is it

Yeah he still sorely lacks in the social skills department.
There were a couple times I questioned his actions

All the twists and on the edge drama I expected
Expertly tainted with just the right dose of hurt and betrayal
Assuaged with a soothing balm of hope and family.

Ben or Bennett had me debating my sanity at times. And do not even try to get me to believe that "I did it for you" garbage. You were afraid of your feelings and whether you could do what needed to be done.
Sierra is innocence and love personified. Don't get it twisted though never take her kindness for weakness - it would be your last miscalculation. She gives so much of herself and asks for almost nothing in return. And she is like this despite her chit family - not sure how she does it.
I wanted to drown Sierra's sister and dad in their own vitriol. Wait for that little twist! The betrayals are the kind that will leave lasting marks upon most of the cast. and the big reveal(s) Crispy Crackers!!! I did not see those coming.
This storyline is packed with so many little twists and turns. Most left little holes in my heart, many made the "OMG No way" moments a bit more emotional. I don't want to give away the events because even the littlest thing might ruin the overall impact for you when you read it.
Go in prepared to have your heart wrenched out and stomped upon but also knowing that as you go the pieces will be glued back in place
