Layla Jones grew up in the West and is the oldest of five. She's lived all over the United States, but her favorite spot is Bandon, Oregon. There's a little fudge shop along the boardwalk that she visits often. She grew up reading all sorts of mysteries and writes romance with a hint of suspense.

When she isn't working on her next book, she enjoys reading, walks along the beach when the tide is out, binge-watching her favorite show (it varies from month to month), baking cupcakes, giant cookies, and meals for her family and friends.
