And a couple of other snippets that were just enough to tease me
Getting me excited about what's to come
But - not enough to piece together a solid foundation
I also felt it gave me a firm sense of the author's writing style and
what to expect from the series

I almost didn't finish this 😲
I know but hear me out, please.
I was enjoying the characters and I knew this was an Insta 💘love romance with lots
and lots of loving ... (its erotic romance folks)
I can't tell you if it was me, a book slump or 🤷 -
I just couldn't get passed how quickly everything happened in the beginning and
some of the scenes just weren't clicking for me.
I set it aside -
Picked it up a couple of days later
And couldn't put it down 🤓
Hope needs her backside tanned something fierce
How that girl survived to adulthood I'll never know
Ari, well he is learning
I truly appreciated the way the dragons viewed the worth of their mates
and the feeling of IDK family? that they offered
As the story progressed I found myself laughing at the brothers' antics and
enjoying the building relationship between Ari and Hope
as well as hope and the brothers.
Despite what was required to "turn" her there was no disrespect to her character.
Finding Faith
This one actually brought those quiet sad tears
I can't tell you cause it will ruin the moment -
just know Crag and his Weyr do their best to right what they can
On to our feisty little Faith - turns out she had a plan -
it was just temporarily derailed when she witnessed her sister being carried off by a dragon -
who would have thought?
I think Crag and Faith complement each other perfectly
He's so dang stuffy but she brings out a fire in him that makes him a little less irritable
and a bit more lovable
New elements are introduced and the clan grows
- but don't fear there is plenty of room for growth
and it looks like fire and ice just may find a safe blending point
