This starts out fun and with a world of possibilities for our little brood of "brothers" and one sister. They have the world literally at their feet. Their futures are bright and their dreams just a step away.

Until something tips the scales against them

I want to be real careful here there are so many secrets and twists and OMG moments that occur during Sicko and Jade's journey. And while we are biting our nails trying to piece everything together concentrating so much of our energy on them - there is a darker storm brewing in the background that will change everything we thought we knew.

For me this was more of an emotional read - I shed a few of those silent tears - so much pain - loss - how do you piece yourself back together?

I enjoyed the flow of the storyline - the ebb and flow was pretty spot on easily keeping me fighting off my inner child who so desperately wanted to read the last pages and ensure herself everyone would survive. I jest you not this was hard not to do.

I would have liked more details on some of the scenes and cast members. We get some of the how's and whys during flashbacks and it did set the foundation but the structure still needed some décor.

Some of the characters we only got brief glimpses of, little teasers and I needed more. They were a big part of how we got to where we were going. (again hard without giving spoilers) I understand a lot of the "lack of" is set up for the series (I hope because there is no way you can get my curiosity peaked with all the wonderful characters here and just leave me ... or I guess you could )

Definitely left me wanting more
