I admit my feelings toward Elijah may have slightly jaded my reactions towards certain events

I can't help it though - He's all shades of messed up

He is trying so hard with Hannah and I get she has her own emotional luggage as well - Still, how can she not see the truth?

These two are my favorite couple and right now I am worried about both of them

"That damn throbbing organ tried to make a break for it by way of my throat"

This ends on a 'steal your breath' reveal that culminated after a series of events that toppled Elijah's current reality and sense of control.

"Are you growling? Like legit growling at me right now?"

When there was a risk of having to watch his heart walk away he decided enough was enough
