Review: intention: a novel by Ava Harrison

intention: a novel intention: a novel by Ava Harrison
My rating: 3of 5 stars

It has been a bit since I have settled in with a true contemporary romance
Intention checks all the boxes
✔️ the best friend - the chaotic family- the emotionally devastating secret, the underhanded villain, the simple attraction, the angst - and the budding romance
Nathaniel is the typical rich playboy - he knows he has to settle down and adult - but he does not feel that that time is now - still hoping to take things easy for a while and appease his grandfather he sets out on a mission he believes will secure his future - He could not have been any further off from the truth
TInk - Maddy- Life has been a bit of a challenge - but she is strong and has set her mind on a goal - with absolute precision and control she will make the best of her future even if it kills her - she doesn't need a man - especially a smooth-talking British accented playboy who is taking up her space!
Tink and Peter (going to have to read it) are like oil and vinegar - two opposites who just can not find a middle ground
Overall this was an easy to follow romance that was entertaining and engaging, the storyline did slow during a couple scenes - and the resolution to their problem felt a bit rushed.
If you are looking for a bit of laughter -a bit of drama - a touch of angst and a sweet as sin romance - Look no further
