The push and pull between these two was cataclysmic!
I loved how absolutely blind Hannah was to the negative - maybe blind is the wrong word - she knew life is all about how you view it and she took the things that just wouldn't work and twisted them -until they were acceptable - she has such a big heart
Tom ... not sure when someone stuck the ginger up your backside but you need to take a milk bath and quit spitting your acidic words onto others!
Do not fear once our brave and tenacious Hannah enters Tom's realm of ruling all bets are off - Looks like the king is about to be dethroned

I'm still dancing under the stars. That had to be one of the most poignant scenes I've ever read.
The moment was so vivid so tactile. (I caught myself swaying to the music)

Hope they're right (this has bad idea written all over it)

Off to the rodeo, we go! Or in this case intergalactic travel 😎
Promised provides the reader with
Comic world building
Insta 💘 attraction (blame the tasty silver dust)
Lots of laughs and a bit of miscommunication
Some suspense
Strong leading ladies being wooed by brightly colored aliens👽
And some seriously steamy moments between our guardian pair

This ends on a cliff hanger!
(I know I was a bit distraught as well but don't worry the next in series is available now - find out who the big bulky alien is and we may even get a bigger glimpse into the cave ... or not)

I can not stress enough how important it is to enter Bastian's story a blank canvas
Let the events guide you

When you've had a chance to process the gift you were given

This journey is a steady one. A bit slow in the beginning as we are introduced to the different canvases, given glimpses of the various mediums and finally we bare witness to the creation

Jor is running for her life.
She has one shot to disappear
To escape her prison

Brood is balancing fatherhood and the darker aspects of his MC and he's killing it (IMO)

Both are about to find their carefully laid plans shredded to pieces

Jor is such a ray of sunshine.
She is young and that reflects in some of her choices -
There were times I wanted to shake some sense into her
Others she acted well beyond her years.

Brood kills me.
He is such a hard arse.
He lives up to his name without question.
Opposite his darker tendencies regarding the MC when it comes to his family he is all marshmallow filling

The plot line is easy to follow with a couple of small turns that surprised the he ll out of me
Great start to the series -
I am definitely invested in the cast

Brood and Jor fit perfectly.
He is almost twice her age but she is mature enough to stand at his side.

Kas stole my heart

Show reminds me of the overprotective uncle -
I think he has his eyes on a fiery woman who might be feeling scorned

Roman is the big brother that keeps the peace- don't let him fool you he is keeping tabs on a certain someone

Luck - just ewwww

Butch - you are one sick flesh bag
