how to master the sex game so she can provide a home for her two
little girls.

“Concrete Roses Trampled: Book I”
“Tammy, you need to come right now. It’s Bruno!” Tammy jumped up off of her bed. “What happened, and where is Chica?” Tammy asked as she followed Trinity. “She’s passed out in her room, and I can’t wake her up,” Trinity said as she rushed down the hall to the bathroom. The two reached the bathroom and saw Bruno lying unconscious in the bathtub. A stream of blood leaked from his left nostril. “Oh God,” Tammy screamed. As Tammy rushed to Bruno, she kicked a small empty vile that lay on the floor near the tub. “Oh, my goodness. Jesus, please. Trinity, call 911!” Trinity didn’t move. It was like she was in shock. At that moment, Jane burst into the bathroom and saw Tammy on the scene with Bruno. Jane immediately dialed 9-1-1 from her cell phone she held in her hand. Tammy began to shake Bruno as she called his name, “Bruno, wake up, baby. Please.” She picked up Bruno’s limp and unconscious body and held him in her arms as she sat on the closed toilet seat. She surveyed his body for any marks, bruises, or needle tracks.
“Concrete Roses Revived: Book II”
“I don’t know why I’m telling you all of my business like this. I barely know you.” She chuckled with tear-filled eyes.
“Well, I’m Joe and what you see is what you get. I’m a simple man and you are a smart, beautiful and complicated lady. Doesn’t that seem right?” Joe blossomed a full and handsome smile beneath his mustache.
Smiling sheepishly, Chica answered, “I guess meeting you this way isn’t too big of a deal. I’ve shared a whole lot more with strangers and I wasn’t nearly as dressed as I am right now. You’ve heard my story. Based on my history, this is right as rain, I guess.”
“Yeah. You know, Chica, to be frank with you, you might feel the way you do because it seems like this is the first time you’ve been naked with a man.”
“Naked? What do you mean? My business is being naked with men.” Chica chuckled and took a swallow of her soda.
“No, no. The truth is, you’ve been nude, but to be naked is a totally different thing. Being naked means to be completely exposed, vulnerable, revealed and unprotected.”
“Wow,” was all Chica could say.
“Oh, did I embarrass you? Did I just steal your thunder there?”
“It seems so,” Chica admitted, turning red as she smiled.
I describe myself as conscientious, caring, down-to-earth, family-oriented, fun-loving, and passionate. I love meeting people, but I am a bit of an introvert as well. I have a background in the field of Social Work. When I am not working to Save The World, I enjoy spending time with my husband and kids in front of a great meal and movie. I love a great movie! I enjoy suspense, action (Martial Arts), dramas, comedies and my new favorite, “Reality Television.” I like to read; but I struggle with finding the time to read – which is a terrible thing to admit, as a writer. My new series, “Concrete Roses” is my first book/series. A friend helped me to develop the title, which, based on the story seems to be very appropriate. The setting is in the city of Memphis, Tennessee. I enjoy writing about Urban life because; honestly, that is what I know. I am quite comfortable there. I am working on the third installment of “Concrete Roses” which may be described as a “spin-off” to the series. I am writing an independent novel as well. The motivation behind the “Concrete Roses” series stems from an idea that one can find hope in the darkest places! I can totally picture my books as movies. The characters in my books are fictional; but I think they have realistic qualities that people can identify with. My characters have unique names; I wanted them to be unforgettable to the reader. I think that my stories challenge readers to look inside of themselves as they learn about the characters. While writing “Concrete Roses Book I: Trampled” and “Concrete Roses Book II: Revived” I faced significant personal challenges that impacted my experience writing the stories. I think the challenges have made me a better writer because my characters are acquainted with hurt and pain. Therefore, my experiences and pain channeled through the voices of my characters have given their stories depth; something we can feel.
